A text-to-image prompt is a written description that tells an AI model what kind of image to generate. In order to get the best quality, diversity and relevance of image produced we need to implement some techniques just like did in text-to-text prompting.

Image Prompting Techniques

Some of the most important and relevant techniques that we can use include;

Style Modifiers

Style modifiers are words or phrases added to a prompt to influence the artistic style or mood of the generated image. Examples of style modifiers in a prompt include; Watercolor, Cyberpunk, Vintage, Cartoon,Realistic,Surreal,3D render

Example Prompt: *A girl reading under a tree, in Studio Ghibli style, soft lighting, dreamy atmosphere*

Quality Boosters

Quality boosters are terms used in prompts to improve resolution, realism, and fine detail in the generated image. Common Quality Boosters words include; Ultra detailed, 8K resolution, Photorealistic, Professional lighting, Unreal Engine, Hyper realistic

Example Prompt: *Portrait of a lion, photorealistic, ultra-sharp focus, 8K, cinematic lighting*

Repetition

Repeating specific words in a prompt emphasizes their importance, making them more likely to appear or dominate the output.

Example Prompt: *A shiny **golden sword, golden sword, golden sword, golden sword, golden sword**, resting on velvet.*

I know this looks childish😂, but trust me it works

Weighted Words

Weights are assigned to specific elements of a prompt to control their priority or influence over others. It lets you control the focus of your image instead of leaving everything equally weighted. The Weighting syntax varies by platform. These syntaxes mostly are either; subject::weight or subject:weight or [subject:weight]
